HELP ME!!!!
I'm making an apple alphabet for Little Man's room using wooden apples bought from a craft site. I've painted them with poster paints and they dried brilliantly - 2 coats of each colour. Now all I have to do is varnish them. DISASTER! I bought clear, interior varnish and began on z - the paint brush started turning pink from the red paint underneath and the black of the z is starting to run. Any suggestions of varnish I can use???

I used Daler Rowney Poster and Water Colour Varnish (thats what it says on it lol) that I got for about £6. It worked well for me.
I got it from an art shop, but I just googled it and you can get it on line too.
oooh I'm learning something new every day - thanks hun.
Someone else suggested spray varnish too. Phew - thought all was lost. x
I alsways use the spray... It works great, 2 coats and your good to go. No dripping...:D
No idea.
BUT:
I gave you an award:

aww thank you hunny! I will pass on this award as soon as I'm awake enough lol xxx
Or ... repaint using acrylic .. then you won't need to varnish ;)
